I like to order through the mail. I have found my correct size and I like the cost and durability of the LL Bean jeans. I buy different options that are offered depending on time of year. I like to wear long johns in the winter and like a slightly different shape arrangement of the cut offered inorder to be comfortable. In the summer I will buy shorter lengths and more form fitting. LL Bean jeans are just right for me and they are pretty much all I wear.
This was my first purchase from LL Bean. I'm in my early 20s and I love high rise jeans because they are much more comfortable than having low rise jeans that show the underwear when sitting down. I was quite disappointed with these jeans and when I had to return them, it made me think twice about ever buying something from LL Bean and have to pay to return if it doesn't fit well. I also do not have a local LL Bean store so it's even worse.
The length, rise and waist for these jeans were fine. But the fit was just horrible. I'm 27" waist and 38" hips, 5 feet tall, and got a size 6. The jeans were made of a sturdy denim (smelled a little funny, but that's fine). The size 6 looked so bad on me like I was wearing a huge size for men's jeans. The hips were incredibly baggy. I thought it would be fitted and didn't expect them to be THAT loose and relaxed when I read the measurements in the description. The legs were also barely tapered for me!
This wasn't a very pleasant purchase and these jeans, unfortunately, had to be returned.
