I was looking for a pair of jeans without stretch and good old jean feel. These definitely work. They are slightly looser than I thought they would be in the legs but much better than the relaxed fit. They seem to be true to size. Like the higher waist. Perfect for this not so perfect 5'2" 140 lb body. Working on getting into the size 8 I have in the closet. The size 10 looks great for now.
I ordered and received 2 pair of these jeans. One pair fit but when I washed them they shrunk so much I could not close the waist. The other pair was so tight in the waist that I immediately returned them. Now I've also returned the second pair. Both were supposed to be the same size. I'm very unhappy with the fit of these jeans in comparison to others I've purchased of the same kind. Can't say how sad this makes me. I even tried a couple other styles and they also had to be returned. Who is now working in quality control? This is really poor representation of past quality and a huge disappointment to this long time customer.
I'd been looking for a plain, no frills pair of 100% cotton jeans and couldn't find them anywhere. I finally found these and was excited they came in long sizes. However, this particular pair in long sizes only comes in 32, 34 is not offered but the 32 worked for me. They are very comfortable and fit everywhere very nicely. I only ordered one pair because I wasn't sure if I'd like them but I will be ordering more.
Finally, jeans or slacks that fit the natural waist. There is an age group of us that really prefer pants that come to the natural waist .All of the other features that make LL Bean so popular are present in this pair of jeans. Thank you
