I just lost 15 pounds in the last year and used to wear the relaxed fit jeans; now I can go with the traditional and they are a much better fit for me in the butt and thighs. They are just comfortable all the way around and I've always loved L.L. Bean jeans!
I purchased 3 pair of these to replace what I am currently wearing, which are size 6 in Traditional Relaxed. The only difference should have been the tapered legs, however all 3 pair were too tight in the hips-stomach. I will reorder in a size 8. I did order based on your size chart so I don't understand why they didn't fit.
I was hoping to get jeans that would last and feel comfortable. They were good quality/heavy duty denim but the cut was so bad. The hips were tight and the crotch cut too high-uncomfortable!! I walked around the bedroom and had to take them off. No way I could wear them more than 5 minutes. A few inches of fabric would have made a big difference.
