I am a longtime customer of another company, which no longer offers "traditional" jeans in 100 percent cotton. I went to Bean to find these. I LOVE them, they fit really well and they are the kind of hefty sturdy denim no one is using anymore except in mens jeans. THe "limited quantities" notice means....are you discontinuing the traditional fit? Please, Bean, change your mind! If you are reading this and wear Traditional fit jeans please follow me in demanding them!
Based on my measurements and the size chart, I originally ordered a size 8 in these jeans. When I tried them on, I found they were very tight in the waist and hips, even though my hips are not as large as the measurement listed in the chart. I returned them and got a size 10 which fits better - still a little snug in the waist and upper hips but they are comfortable. I like these jeans since the waist is actually at my waist rather than much lower as is the case for many jeans and pants these days. Since I am long-waisted, the lower rise ones do not fit me well.
I ordered two pairs of size 12 pants. The first, cargo pants, fit fine. These jeans indicated they were size 12, but were really either a small 10 or a large 8. Very disappointing.
