I''ve avoided buying any jeans for almost a decade because this fit went out of style. When they arrived, putting them on felt like putting on an old favorite. The fit is right on, they were immediately comfortable, and they have laundered will. The fabric is just the right weight, I love the waistline actually at my waist, and they were flexible and comfortable from moment one.
But it appears they're being discontinued, which is a real pity. These jeans are the only "real" jeans I've found in years. Made of actual denim, not some "looks-like" denim-type fabric. Please reconsider not letting this style go! I was hoping to reorder them in years to come.
Over the years, I've bought different versions of the Double L jeans. These latest look good and feel good. I especially like that they are higher cut.
But I was disappointed that the leather piece sewn on the waistband, with the LL Bean logo, had been replaced by a piece of cardboard.
it's getting hard to find REAL jeans...I want all cotton/prewash...these are super soft without the stretch. The tailoring and fit is great...length is right on...I don't want super skinny...the taper is perfect...no bagginess. Just what I was looking for.
