I so want to love these jeans..... They are so well made. But the fit is the issue. The waist is too snug for the supposedly "fitted hips and thighs". It seems as though the waist for the 6 fits an 8 hip and thigh. And the tall option which only started at size 8 now is only available in the relaxed style.... What is a gal who would fit a size 6 Tall supposed to do???
I have ordered other jeans from llbean, in a size 12(classic fit/straight), and they were a good fit. I tried a size 12 again, in the traditional, and I need to go to a size 18, according to their chart. I guess they really are "traditional". These are the sizes that used to be on clothing in the 80's. Over the years, clothing companies have dropped the size on the same type of fit. I was a 15-16 in the 80's; now, for the most part a 12. I am returning them. I will read more reviews to see how the rest of the pant fits, compared to the waist size. My waist is 36; hips-39. Not much of an indent, for a waist. Never did have much of an indent...
I have worn size 4-6 for years but a 6 was way too tight so I ordered a 8 and still 2 tight. I ordered 10 and have not received the replacement. I have a pair of 6sz LLB jeans a friend gave me and they are perfect fit so I am confused?????
