I tried on three pairs of these in the store, and even with the high waist they were just too tight. I tried on pairs that are two sizes higher than what I normally wear. I was just able to button them, but then the legs were huge. At almost 5'8", they were a bit short too. If they had fit otherwise, I would have ordered the talls online, but the waist is just too small for me.
After years of searching, finally a pair of real jeans! No elastic or spandex, just sturdy cotton denim. I did have to exchange a size 10 that I thought should fit for a size 12. Nevertheless, the waist/hip/length proportions are just right for me (5'4" and 127 lbs).
Returned...Waist above belly button is too high, hurt to sit down. Length was right. Fit was quite tight...order a size up or more...no way I was doing that!! Denim quality high.
