These jeans are denim. Almost as sturdy as the jeans from 20 years ago. They are not window dressing. They're definitely good for getting done the things that need to be done: climbing up and down ladders, dealing with piping insulation in crawlspaces, running wheelbarrows from the lower 40 up to the barn and back again, and for relaxing with my boots up at the end of the day by a warming fire. The fit is roomy enough that I can comfortably wear long underwear with them too. I nay need to buy a couple of pairs just to have for five years from now when I wear these out; jeans this durable that don't stand up by themselves are really hard to find!
FINALLY a pair of women's jeans that are 100% cotton. I hate the spandex stretch that they put in all women jeans now. I recieved a LL Bean catalog, I thought what the heck I will check and see to see if they carried any. To my surprise they did. the price was worth taking a chance and BAM...awesome! They fit great too. They are just below the belly button soooo not too "mom..ish". If they were a tad lower they would be absolutely perfect. But I love them and am very happy!
I love LL Bean jeans. They are the only jeans I can find that are 100% cotton and that sit at the waist; therefore, they are the only jeans I buy. These jeans fit well and wear well. I wish they were available in more colors (eg, khaki, black). They are the most comfortable pants I own--practically live in them. I hope you continue to offer these wonderful 100% cotton jeans.
I had recently ordered the ankle-length TrueFit jeans in my usual 16 Petite size; back over the years, I have ordered other 16 Petite trousers and jeans, and they always fit. In fact, the TrueFit were a little loose but I can work with a belt if need be. But these Traditional DoubleL Jeans in 16 Petite were way too tight! Why is the size so different after all this time??
