I ordered these jeans in hopes that they would be the same as the classic fit jeans that I love. Classic fit is not listed anymore so I went for these. They were way too tight in the waist and the legs were too wide. I sent them back.
These jeans are okay but the best-fitting jeans for me have been the Original Fit/Natural and I'm so glad I have a few pair of them left in my closet. My bigger objection to all of this season's jeans is that the rinsed color is not available (except in wide leg, and I expect that color will be phased out there, too). I don't understand how the rinsed color could be discontinued when it seems to be the first color to sell out in the bigger sizes.
None of the current styles flatters me as much as the Natural Fit and after trying this style and the relaxed style, I think I am going to hope that the Natural Fit jeans I have hold up until LLB brings that style back. Please ...
I practically live in these jeans (which are some of the very few on the market that are not skin tight and/or made with Spandex) but I am VERY FRUSTRATED that there are only two color choices. Black has been an available choice in the past. Why not now?? And why have I never been able to buy these jeans in beige??? DoubleL jeans in other cuts are available in black and beige so I see no reason why the Traditional cut can't be made available in those two colors as well as the two blue shades. I wish someone from the company would see if this can be changed.
After several missteps before I realized that the old natural jeans are the new traditional jean, I finally got a pair of these and the fit is good, not as good as the old original/natural jeans as the waist is a little bigger now and doesn't quite fit me. Still, I like that they sit comfortably on my waist not below, which I really dislike in other jeans. They aren't the same heavy fabric either, but they are still denim without stretch. Just please, please, please make them in more colors like khaki or camel and black. (And don't keep making the waist bigger every year!) PLEASE, COLORS!!
