These jeans worked well..durable, more heavy weight. Fit was right on. The only negative, I can mention, is they tend to get baggy..BUT that could be the fact that I am older, (YIKES) and my tastes have changed. at 55/56 it is hard to find a perfect jean, for my ever changing body...these jeans however were a good purchase, both for quality and price.
I looked for months for jeans that did not contain the dreaded stretch material, which has become quite popular in the past three years. After nearly giving up and buying into the current design, I remembered LL Bean. I lived on the East Coast for many years and had access to an LL Bean store, but I now live in California.
LL Bean came through for me. Not only were the jeans I bought comfortable and perfectly designed for my body shape, there is not an ounce of that stretchy stuff!!!! I have yet to figure out why women think the stretch is making them look thinner and is more comfortable. The fabric feels odd against my skin, and it doesn't seem as if they make me look any thinner.
Again, I have looked everywhere. LL Bean is simply a company that knows what their customers want and they just keep delivering high quality products. Thank you LL Bean!
