I have worn LL Bean's Double L jeans for years and years. They always had a reliable fit and wore like iron. Unfortunately it appears that the styling in my old favorite jean has been changed. I ordered the Traditional fit as it was the only one that offered a tapered leg, which is the style I prefer, but when I tried them on they are now too generous in the seat and thighs and are a little snugger in the waist than they've been previously. I wavered, but decided to return them as the fit was just not flattering. The quality was as good as ever, but I just didn't think I'd feel good wearing this jean other than for work around the house.
I've had some recent health issues that have caused me to gain weight. I've lost what I needed to get into smaller jeans, but at 6 ft tall, they are either very difficult to find or very expensive. Also, at 60 years of age, I do not need to wear anything with a stretch to it, especially jeans. These are perfect for me-"regular" jeans, age appropriate, and, since I've ordered them years ago, will wear very well. I can't say enough about these jeans. LL Bean has always had great quality products, and they still do. I would definitely highly recommend.
I have been purchasing these jeans for several years and I am never disappointed. They fit well, they look good, and they last for a long time. I never buy jeans anywhere else.
