They were about what I expected, they fit, enough room in the seat, fit neatly at the waist, good pockets, just a hair long, but that's me, it seems I seem to shrink ever so little each year. But, the petite are too short. I'll just use the old fashion way, I'll fold the cuffs up in bad weather, and leave down in good weather. I bought them for dress when I go to the Doctor's office. Thanks again.
The only LLBean jeans/slacks that have fit me properly were the "curvy fit" that was discontinued a few years ago (I literally cried). I have about a 13+" difference between my hips and (true) waist, so I am overjoyed when I find pants or skirts that fit. With the curvy fit I wore a size 16 (it was a kind fit and I still have them for comparison), and with these jeans I wear a size 18. I hope that helps people with sizing questions. There is still a slight gap without a belt, but no bunching with a belt - yay! The jeans themselves are thick fabric and snug so they smooth out some bumps. I'm more of a dress person than a jeans/slacks person, but these are now my go-to jeans for non-dress activities.
