I just ordered these jeans and was a little nervous about ordering them online without trying them on. They arrived in 4 days and I love them. They fit beautifully and are sooo comfortable.

I have been a Bean customer for about 30 yrs, and always loved the company as a whole: quality, service, easy returns, friendly. But I'm very unhappy with the merge of 2 style jeans: Traditional and Original. As a result, I've got mis-aligned zipper folds that do not meet at the button, & hang down, creating a bulge along the entire zipper (all 4 pairs). The waist is higher, which is good for me, but this feature is uncomfortable and oddly, the waist is a bit loose after worn for a few hours. I have never had a bad review, esp for jeans. Something for every shape, and now, I cannot get the "at the waist" like before, to alleviate some of this misfitness(!). I may have to remove the button with a crafting tool, and sew a regular button where it should be. ARgh....Straight leg isn't so much now, as they combined styles. Feels too full. I did re-order in Med Tall, and I hope they shrink...quite a bit. Regular inseam shrinks too short for sitting.
I was told the Traditional is the same as the Classic. They definately are not. They are more baggy in the legs and not as tapered as they use to be. Disappointedl :(
