I bought this jacket and the waterproof rain pants to walk my dog in all kinds of weather. He's a Siberian Husky and he doesn't take "no" for an answer! We go, rain or shine. I'm so glad I purchased this jacket. It really keeps the rain out. I do wish the hood was a little deeper, however. It does cover my head, of course, but I'd like it to "bill" a little more to prevent raindrops from falling on my face (sounds like a song title!). And the coral color is very nice!
I am a professional dog walker/pet sitter in the Northeast and am out 24/7 365 in all kinds of weather. Nothing stops a dog needed to be walked or exercised. Anyway I needed a WATERPROOF jacket as we do get rain in every season up here and it can be torrential. I grew up with the fisherman slicker as a staple. This jacket as I said lives up to it's expectations. It is light and breathable so you can wear it in summer rains if need be and it hasn't soaked through to my skin yet. Features on it, velcro fittings etc. are great and it looks good too. I would get another one in a minute. Plus the colors are very cool.
