I'm glad you asked my opinion. I ordered this for a safari trip and wore it in the rain there as well as on mild days at home. I"ve had it for one month. My complaint is that it gets very clammy and uncomfortable. WHile I really like the lightweight nature of the jacket, the material makes me feel as if I'm suffocating. I usually like what I order from LLBean, but this is an exception.
This jacket is nice but not like the picture. In the photo, there was red trim around the neck, and it's not on the jacket. It also ran very small. But it's a decent rain jacket so I am not unhappy.
I needed a lightweight jacket for wearing over sweaters in the spring and by itself in summer storms. This fits the bill perfectly. I especially like all the pockets. I know this jacket will get a lot of use.
This jacket is great. Lightweight, not for warmth, buy larger and layer it over something else. It absolutely keeps you dry. All seams well done and the hood is adjustable. Nice pockets, sleeves...everything. It rolls up nice for packing and could go in a fanny pack or back pack.
I bought one for my husband for work and liked it so well I then bought one for me. We don't get much rain in SoCal but when we do it pours. This jacket doesn't allow any water in. We love our jackets!
