The minute I tried this jacket on, it felt clammy, so I returned it posthaste. Guess 'breathable" depends on the wearer. An unlined version of this jacket would be ideal for Southern California.

I bought this for my grand-daughter after she saw how warm and dry I stayed on a recent rainy day. I bought mine in Freeport on a cold and rainy day and have worn it frequently. It fits well and does indeed keep me dry!

I bought this as a keep-it-in-the-car-just-in-case jacket and it is perfect for that-lightweight, I bought a size larger so it would go over sweaters and such and it is waterproof-the only downside is the texture of the material-really rubbery feel to it-other than that, a good jacket
