I tend to be overly warm and this is a very lightweight rain jacket. Great for warmer weather. Kept me dry but not overly warm. A sweat shirt under is perfect when it is a little cool.

This is the 2nd one I now own! My husband gave me the first as a gift in a spring color, and I wanted a more neutral color for fall and for travel. I love this rain jacket...It's roomy enough to layer underneath using my true size and has pockets. I love the dual zip feature. I'd order a third!
This jacket kept me dry through a torrential downpour when I first bought it 5 years ago, but the waterproof/water-resist qualities must fade after time. These days, after wearing it in the rain, I feel like water has seeped inside somehow - not through the closures, but through the fabric itself. The velcro sleeve closures are about the only "plus" going for this jacket after all these years. The pockets are HUGE and my keys get lost on them every time, the hood is also huge and obstructs peripheral vision, and the multi-directional zipper is sometimes a challenge to actually get zipped. The price might be right, but don't expect this to hold up to many years of use.

Just got back from the Ryder Cup and if any of you saw the rain and mud we had to deal with you would know you needed waterproof attire for sure! This jacket was perfect in weight and sized just right for layering as well.
