I bought this jacket in yellow; and in a size small because of comments in the reviews of this jacket. Sure enough, the small fits me perfectly. I am 5'6" and weigh 135 lbs. The sleeves are a good length, and so is the jacket body. I had a little trouble getting the zipper to work the first time, but had no trouble after that. The fabric is lightweight, so this is a good summer rain jacket; I'll want something heavier when the rain is also cold.
I ordered this as I have no rain coat. I was not impressed with the feel of the fabric on the inside, it felt like it should have a lining of some sort. I also had a very hard time zipping it. I suppose that could have just been the jacket I got and not all of them, but that was the second reason I decided to return it. If the coat was maybe $30 or $40, I might have just tried a new one for a better zipper, but overall I didn't feel it was worth $60.
ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
This jacket absolutely delighted our resident student from Sikkim, India. To our great surprise, it also has a zip-out pile jacket liner--a feature I had not noticed when ordering. She had never seen anything like it and I felt we got much more than just a rain jacket--the primary purpose for ordering. It has been worn daily since arriving. And the bright blue color is great, too!
Bought one for me and one for my very large husband. We are traveling to Germany, France, Switzerland, and Austria by Eurail Pass and will consequently be outdoors a lot, rain or shine. We also wanted jackets large enough to layer for weather changes. These fit the bill.
