I really like this jacket size is true and leaves enough room for a sweater later in the season. The jacket lenght is perfect because it gives coverage to just above the knees. I would recommend this jacket without reservations.
I love my jacket and the fact that it is yellow. I normally wear a 2x so the XL fits me with a light weight top under it but if you want a bit more movable room I recommend going to the plus size. I tried but they didn't have the color I wanted. I love the light weight that it is.
I bought this jacket apprx 5 yrs ago. It was always somewhat clammy on the inside because of moisture buildup-(does not breathe); but it did seem to repel the rain. As the years have gone by, I noticed that the waterproofing was apparently wearing off. The last straw was going out to get the mail during a rainstorm, and getting soaked almost immediately. The inside of the jacket was totally wet! I take good care of my clothes, and this jacket was otherwise in very good shape. I finally had to return it ,along with the matching baseball cap, and was given a refund. LL Bean is a top quality company, but they need to rethink this jacket.
