This is a great lightweight jacket to keep you dry. We live in Southern California where even when it's wet, it's not usually very cold so this jacket is perfect to keep the rain off. That having been said, my only complaint is that there is no lining, and if you wear it with a short sleeve shirt (as I often do), it's not very comfortable.
The Trail model Women's raincoat is a real winner. I have bought two for my daughters now and they are both very pleased with fit, comfort, and dryness. We have put them to the test on rainy beaches in Oregon and pouring jungle forests in Hawaii. They have even worked great as outter ski jackets over fleece tops.
I purchased this jacket as a replacement for an identical jacket that I had totally worn out. I tried a new color and it took time for me to get used to it, but now I love it. I had a problem with the zipper-just a little finicky but LL Bean's return policy is great and it was replaced quickly.
