This is the perfect light weight rain jacket. I recently went hiking in Maine and this was the perfect jacket to have. It was light weight but kepted you warm and dry. It condensed great so it did not take up to much room in your bag. And no matter how you packed it, it did not look wrinkled. And it has plently of pockets to carry all you need. I know I will more have more uses for this jacket. It is too comfortable not to wear.
Love this jacket - it is a nice weight and can be warm when layered over a fleece vest. Overall, quite a bargain for the jacket you get. But what happened to the pretty contrasting color along the placket that older models of this jacket had? I have a older model of the coral rose with lime green along the zipper, and I get so many compliments whenever I wear it. I love that extra touch of color, but am disappointed to see the newer versions do not have it. Please bring it back!
Bought this jacket for my daughter and myself for our recent trip to Alaska. It was perfect for the weather. We had some rain, some drizzle, some wind, some sun - and it kept us warm and dry, with a fleece underneath. Especially near the glaciers, where it was really chilly and breezy, it was perfect. I ordered up a size - from med to large, to allow for layers. The only down side - as some reviewers have mentioned - is the zipper. Daughter and I both had problems with getting it started. Other than that - I highly recommend it.
