This is a very lightweight and packable rain jacket that is also waterproof. We have just had a very rainy period here in NC and my new jacket kept me dry. On the days that it was also cold, I wore a sweater and fleece jacket underneath since there is no lining. I ordered a medium even though I usually wear a size 4. I do wish the hood extended a bit farther in front for better hair coverage. Love the teal color! I recommended this jacket to a coworker and she has already ordered and received hers.
I was so disappointed to find that this jacket is just not cut right for tall, big women. The sleeves were too short and the arms were way too tight! I tried it on when I received it with only a lightweight cotton top and it was uncomfortable. There is no way that this jacket could be worn with a sweatshirt or sweater on a cool, rainy spring or fall day. Too bad!
This is the perfect all around raincoat. Lightweight, great for travel for the "just in case" days. Most raincoats feel like you are wearing a plastic bag, but this one breathes and has all sorts of pockets and hiding places. Fun colors as well. I would defenitely recommend it.
