Needed a good rain jacket for jogging/hiking in a variety of 4-season New England weather conditions. As other reviewers have remarked and contrary to its marketing, this jacket does not breathe and if you are at all active clamminess is a real factor. A lining might've helped. Also the pockets are useless for any sort of hand-warming because they are made of a thin open-mesh material. The Velcro at the front and sleeves is weak and gathers lint and hair prodigiously, making it inconvenient to wear the jacket open or to rely solely on the Velcro for a light closure as outdoor conditions change. The medium has a comfortable, roomy-not-baggy fit on my smaller frame. It has a nice feminine styling for a rain jacket. It seems to be more of a coat to grab when commuting, while running errands in the car on a rainy day, or perhaps, to be generous, light hiking in showery weather, but I don't buy higher-priced occasional-use clothing. I'm looking for something more all-purpose, less clammy and with snaps.
I love this jacket! I wore it in a downpour and stayed nice and dry. The hood is large and the visor kept my glasses free of rain. I did not have to be bothered with an umbrella when I was shopping. I got a large size to have room for a sweater underneath and it is very comfortable. This is one of your best products.
This jacket is lightweight and keeps you very dry. I like the velcro hood adjustment and sleeve tighteners to make it a comfortable fit. The zipper, though, is difficult to start especially in a hurry. I like the color (cobalt blue), but it was very different from the shade shown online. Sizing is very true.
