I feel like I've added a lot of freedom to be out in wet weather by buying this jacket for my limited wardrobe. Fleece is my love, and it FITS under this water and wind-proof layer. I've already travelled with it and seen how small it packs, and how quickly wrinkles hang out. I do not find the sleeves at all short, but I'm only 5.5 feet tall, not lanky. A nice surprise was the velcro strap to shorten the hood's overhang over my eyes, a problem with the last rain jacket. One more pocket would have been nice...
Lightweight and very packable, pretty colors. Seems a little big, but I was unable to get this in an xs, which I normally wear in LLBean. Performed well on a recent backpacking trip. The pocket sizes are wonderful!
Great colors - my husband has navy and the soft teal suits me. Top of zipper area has a soft lining to keep it from scratching at the neck. Easy to stuff in a bag or carry along. I recently took it on a conference and it saved the (rainy) day!
I was looking for a rain jacket for myself and my husband to take on our trip to Alaska. I chose this jacket after reading the reviews. This jacket definitely kept us dry. We were very pleased with it.The only drawback was the zipper. Can be frustrating to start.
