I bought one of these for everyone in the family before a cruise to Alaska. They are light weight, great for wearing over layers and keep out the rain. They packed small to fit into a backpack. Even my 12 year old liked the style.
This is the ONLY rain jacket I've ever owned, that doesn't make me sweaty and uncomfortable, after a short walk outside. The material is breathable and light, yet tough enough to protect from heavy down-pours. I particularly like the generously cut hood, with the tiny bill, that protects my 'do from the water.
i was very excited for this coat for I walk my dog everyday for and hour before work. I finally got to wear it since we have had a dry spell, and it kept me pretty dry, but i couldn't get it off because the zipper doesn't unzip all the way . It has a double zipper. I do recall when I read reviews there were zipper issues but none said they couldn't get it to work at all. I am disappointed and now have a pullover rain jacket.
