This Super Fleece 200 feels really nice, not weird like other types. The fit and details are well thought out. The color (grey) was perfect for me. I'll be wearing it under my dress coat and / or around the house on super cold days. On some products, LL Bean really gets it right. This is one of those products. An instant favorite!
I bought this for my son in law for Xmas. He is wearing one that is seven years old and still has much wear left in in. I thought the new Polartec and rain repellant features would be a nice changes for the new one. He likes the freedom of the vest but wants his body warm and this does the trick even in No. VA. weather.
I have not had a need to wear the vest except for trying it on yet because of the warmer climate here in NC. I find it well made with the three pockets very useful and it will be very easy to maintain. I expect to get a lot of use of it this fall and winter. It's a winner.
Made of super 200 fleece this vest is great for our mild autumn weather and even most of the winter here in Australia.
I purchased this for my husband because all the pockets (three in total) have zippers. With safe closed pockets it is great for a wallet and passport when travelling.
