This is one of my favorite pieces of LLBean clothing. I have 4 of these vests. I use them under a coat during hunting and fishing seasons. They work geat when you are looking for just that extra piece of clothing to go over a shirt when going outside. I keep one in work for those chilly days as the temperature is set at 67 degrees in the building.
My husband wanted a fleece vest; so I looked around at different places (department stores & on line) and than looked at the vests at L.L. Bean. I was so impressed with the description and variety, the material of the vest; that I knew that they had exactly what I wanted for my husband. The fit was just right and the color selection was wonderful. I know that I will order another one for him soon.
Great Vest. The fleece material is just the right softness and weight, perfect for cool California mornings and the collar is just right for when the wind is blowing.
My first reason trying a Men's vest is the color and more important that upper pocket. The fit for me is more relaxed and very good looking so I can wear it any where. The quality of the stitching is neat and I know I can wear it for quite a while. At my mature age it is necessary that I look nice as possible. Besides for the weather.
