I bought this sofa for a vacation house. It is the right size, easy to move, and comfortable enough for the moderate use it gets. I found that using an airbed on top of the flip- out sleeper works great. I like it better then a traditional sofa sleeper.
I have had this item for about three years; I should have returned it immediately. While it is a comfortable and pretty sofa (vintage red with flowers), trying to put bedding on it is ridiculous. From the picture, it was not possible to know that fitted sheets will not work because the back is sewn to the top. Guests have complained that the sheets slide around, and that the bed is hard. I can't believe that Bean still has this in the catalogue. Don't even think of buying it unless you just want a sofa.
We've had this sofa for over a year in our living room and love it. It's a perfect size if you need a smaller sofa. The chenille fabric is so soft and holds up well. The olive color blends in perfect with the rest of the room. We've only used it as a pull-out bed once and it wasn't very comfortable but we didn't buy it for that purpose. It's a great sofa and very reasonably priced. I'd like to get another one for our family room.
This is the most disappointing product I have ever gotten from you. I have already returned one with split open seams in a year's time, even though there ar only 2 people in their 60's here who sat on it just to watch the evening news at night . Your customer service is fantastic and you sent another one, no questions. But it is so uncomfortable to sit on; it squishes down and you end up in this odd position that makes your knees ache. My daughter slept on it for 4 nights and refuses to ever sleep on it again.
