My husband and I have had this sofa for a few months now and absolutely love it! Yes, the tan sofa is NOT TAN - it is GOLD - but, we returned the tan/gold one (LL Bean made it very easy to return!) and got the red one instead. We LOVE the red microfiber sofa and would highly suggest it to anyone. The fabric is awesome. It's not that "felt-like" microfiber, it is much nicer than that. Yes, the seats/back pillows get somewhat squashed after someone sits/lays against them for an extended period of time, but after minimal fluffing, the seats/pillows go back to their normal fullness. Last week we spent 7 nights on the bed and found it to be very comfortable (granted, we both like more firm beds). For someone looking for a bed with more softness, this is not for you. But, if you like a more firm bed it is great! Truly, other than the color issue and the minor seat/pillow squashing that can occur from frequent/long term use, the sofa is fantastic! We recommend it to anyone looking for a light weight, well made, beautiful sleeper sofa!!! We look forward to purchasing the sleeper chair soon and believe we will be happy with that too.
We got the sofa a couple of months ago and we really love it. It is comfortable and "cushy" around the neck, back and arms, and very firm in the seat so that somebody who has difficulty getting up from a sofa can use this one with little trouble. The cats really like the little ledge behind the pillows--they consider it a cat walk. This sofa is smaller than most sofas lengthwise which is what we were looking for. We haven't used the sleeper option, and may never do that, but we are very pleased with the sofa for our purposes and given a "do over", we would buy it again.
It's the perfect size for a super small apartment. Since it's light weight, I do not dread moving it to vacuum under it. We use it daily and after sitting in it for a couple of hours there is a dip in the foam, so it's not the most supportive furniture. Yes, the cushions slide forward a bit, but not more than an inch. Simply retucking the cushions fixes the problem. Used in an office or spare room, I would definately recommend this product, although I personally would not look forward to using it as a bed unless I had extra cushioning to place on top of it. For daily use, I would still recommend this product, just know that it is foam cushioning and will not be the most supportive piece of furniture you own. The lightweight factor is a great trade off for the less than perfect support.
The Tan Chenille Sofa is not TAN. It is GOLD. The photo misrepresents the actual color so please keep this in mind when ordering. I liked everything about this sofa. It was exactly what I needed for a little cottage living room. Sure, it's not the most comfortable sofa or bed; but for the price, it would have worked very well ~ all but the color.
