My son who is 11, loves this pack for a book bag, It has lots of litttle compartments for his ipod, PSP games and other 'stuff'. He also enjoys the fact that he can fit all his books and into the main compartment and has room to spare. Might be a bit big for some kids but we figure that he'll get years of use.
This is a sturdy durable backpack that my kids used for 4 years and when the strap broke on my son's LL Bean replaced it for free.My kids carry alot of books and these backpacks were the best we've found!
Got this pack for my older daughter and it lasted her through high school. When she graduated, it got passed down to her younger sister who's now using it in middle school. As she plays basketball, the bottom storage compartment is great for her sneaks and gear.
