After a rather strange incident involving my decade-old LL Bean backpack and a few rather nasty chemicals I was bringing to a studio class, I found myself needing a new backpack.
I settled on this one, and I am impressed!
As a bike commuter, I need something that can carry my full day's load-- books, studio supplies, lunch, a change of clothing, groceries, a big water bottle, a sweater; no small load by any means. This pack has enough room for all of those things and more! I love all of the compartments too; I can keep everything nice and organized.
Given my past experiences with LL Bean products, I'm sure that this bag will hold up to the abuse it's going to get from a bike commuter.
Needed a pack for my daughter who does it all. School, sports, hunt, hike, travel, etc. Tired of buying bags to suit each need and then replacing them when the zipper breaks, a handle tears,or adding an extra bag for shoes or soccer ball. We love our smaller LL Bean school backpacks and eventually have to hand them down to cousins after 2 or 3 years. Zippers still great, color, wash up great etc. So when I saw this pack I knew it was the one! As soon as my 14 year old daughter saw it, she wanted to know why I hadn't bought this one sooner! Roomy enough for large school binders, laptop, books and the works. Soccer ball, uniforms, travel gear - no Sweat. She puts a couple of plastic grocery bags in the bottom compartment for muddy cleats or wet swim gear. Pocket for mp3 player always a hit for on bus trips. Really like the waist strap as well as the padded shoulder straps. Makes a balanced pack for hiking and hunting. Could obviously go on and on - we love it!
My 14 yr old daughter absolutely LOVES her new Turob Transit Backpack! Everything she needs to carry to and from school fits easily and the quality of the backpack itself is superb!
