We bought this backpack, had it monogrammed, and our son used it from 7th to 12th grade. Bought the next son one, monogrammed, using it 7th to 10th grade. Just bought the daughter one, 7th grade. A great investment!
This backpack is awesome. The only thing I'd say it's missing is mesh netting on the side for a water bottle, but you can't have everything!
I love the separate compartment on the bottom. I can put my workout shoes, anatomy scrubs, or whatever smelly clothes I want in there kept separate from my books.
This is the perfect backpack for my 8th grader. He can carry ALL his books and binders and still have room in the extra pockets for gym clothes, lunch, supplies, etc. I don't mind paying for something if it will last...this backpack is really well made and will last for years.
