I ordered two of this item for my boys, on recommendation from a friend. I was looking for a large pack that would not only have room for books but, other things they may need to bring such as shoes or projects. The construction is great and the backpack is certainly big enough. My only complaint is that the color is very different from what appears in the catalog. I ordered the mid-blue and it when I receved them, they were ALOT lighter in color. My boys were disappointed because they liked the color in the book but not the actual color they received. Unfortunately, this was one of a few colors left so they were kind of stuck with what they got. It was also too late to return them because school was starting and they needed the backpacks.
I purchased the Turbo Transit pack for my daughter for school. We both love the multiple, roomy pockets and sections. The bottom zip feature for wet clothes or shoes is a nice addition as well. Great color selection and the overall sturdiness of the bag will take her through high school and college. Great investment!
This backpack is like Mary Poppins' bag. It looks like a normal size backpack, but no matter how much stuff you cram into it there is always room for more. It is comfortable, unbelievably roomy, and extremely durable. I drug this backpack around all through my last two years of high school, four years of undergrad, four years of grad school, and countless trips across thousands of miles, and it looks exactly like it did the day I took it out of the box over a decade ago. Oh, and if you're wondering if the bottom section really is large enough for a pair of shoes - it fits my snow boots.
