My son loves his backpack. It looks GREAT, holds tons of stuff and It will last forever. He still uses his original packpack fom when he was five. ( he's 13 now!!).
This is a great sturdy backpack bought for a high school student. It works out great due to the size - high school students have a huge amount of books that they need to carry to school. Another son had one that lasted several years with fairly rough care.
Purchased in 2006. Used it in nursing school to carry a lot of super-heavy books. I got addicted to it and now use it daily for carrying a laptop and other necessities. I've been pretty rough on it. No signs of any seams/stitching coming loose. Please, please never stop making this one and don't change a thing about it! I'll be back for another one or two when mine wears out. Not sure when that will be. :)
I recently returned from a week-long trip in Ireland and packed only this bag. It worked out great!
I found the straps very comfortable. There was a lot of storage to accommodate my goods (and I packed too much for this trip and the bag handled it great). The bag has sturdy zippers and material too.
