I have 4 children ages 18, 16, 14, and 12. We have only had to buy 2 backpacks for each child - one in the first grade and one as they entered high school, the 12 year old has not needed a second backpack yet. They are tough and well worth the money.
I ordered this bag a couple of weeks ago in the color "night." I got it for my son to use his 8th grade year. The size, shape, and color are absolutely perfect. He is very picky and won't take/wear anything that is "uncool." He LOVES this bag. He uses it for school as well as ALL of his extracurricular activities. It seems very sturdy and carries everything he need to carry.....SO FAR SO GOOD! Hopefully, he won't need a new bag for a long time!
Excellent overall. Great value for price. Very sturdy. My Jr HS daughter uses it and it is large enough for all textbooks and binders, also plenty of compartments to separate gym clothes, books, and personal items.
