my kids used this backpack for 2 years and carried all of their high school textbooks to and from school everyday. They never used a locker. The backpack did not rip, tear, break or anything. They still have the old 2 and I ordered 2 more just because they wanted different colors. My husband and I will use the old ones. I have never had a backpack that has lasted them through 1 school year untill I bought this one. Well worth the money!
My mom bought me this backpack at the beginning of my sophomore year in high school, and I just graduated after 4 years in college! This backpack held all of my books and binders in high school, and my laptop in college. It made it through a summer in Europe, and is still going strong--hopefully it will get me through law school too. The zippers never broke or got "off-track," the color is still "dinosaur" green (as my friends jokingly called it), the straps are still sturdy. I am beginning to think I will never have to replace this backpack, because I don't think it will ever break! Thanks L.L. Bean!
First we got one for my husband, then my highschooler needed a bigger stronger bag, so we got one for him. Now my 8th grade girl needs something big and strong, so she got one two. She loves it in the black plaid. Has lots of zipper pockets, room for everything, very well made.
