This is a great backpack! Loads of room, solid construction, can take the weight you pack it with and keep on going. Love the extra little compartments and the ability to keep things in their own space and the sneaker compartment on the bottom is a life saver! This is our second backpack of its kind in 5 years...still not a thing wrong with the first one but loved the updated colors! Great value for the price too!
It's large, but has a space for everything. This is the third one we've purchased, my college daughter has been using hers since grade 9, we bought it two years ago for my high school junior, and now my eighth grader just got his. It isn't for those who want a new design or get sick of things easily, but if you're looking for a durable, room for everything pack that will last a long, long time, this is the one!!
I have purchased one of these backpacks for each of my kids as they entered 6th grade. My oldest just graduated from high school and after 7 years of use, it is still is great shape! Tons of space and a separate zippered compartment for athletic shoes in the bottom - a great feature. You can buy a backpack a year from other places to get your kids through school, or you can just buy this one!
I bought this backpack two years ago for my son when he could no longer fit all of his books in his current backpack. Two years later it still looks brand new. It has plenty of room for everything and I love the compartment at the bottom for his gym clothes. He is in 8th grade now and I am counting on him using this backpack through college. I have used LL Bean backpacks since I was in high school and now with my three children. I don't think you can find a better quality backpack.
