I decided to pick up this backpack since it was on sale. I have three boys and they all have the LL Bean backpacks. All of them held up for 6 yrs. I end up getting a new backpack to accomodate their books and homework load. As their orginal backpacks were smaller. I have been a loyal LL bean customer for over 10 yrs. You get what you pay for and if you want your backpack to last more than the current school year LL bean is your answer!!!
It's a good bag for the winter months, it hold the winter gear I need for work, in the biggest compartment. I don't use all the pocket on the bag. I do wish there was a bigger front pocket instead of two pockets.The bigest complaint that I have is it does not stand up because of the bottom pocket. A good bag overall.
bought the transit pack a couple years ago, and have taken it all over the country on trips..I LOVE IT! the bottom compartment is wonderful for carrying shoes, and usually have my tennis shoes, plus flip flops in there, and there is still some room left...makes it so easy for the quick changes of shoes at airports..I am a light traveler, so can easily fit enough clothing for 3-4 days in there..plenty of compartments for all my stuff, and it keeps it organized...love this pack, just ordered another one today to have a different color!
