i was on the hunt for the perfect diaper bag for two (a toddler and newborn) that was large enough that i could take on day trips to the zoo, road trips, etc, that would be big enough for all the bottles, diapers, etc that i'd need to bring. i finally decided that a good quality back pack was what i needed.
i have several already, but none worked out for me as they mainly just had one big compartment and everything got lost in there. so i came to LL Bean in search of the perfect bag.
i LOVE this bag, but it is flawed in a few places. first, i'd LOVE to have two bottle holders on either side of the bag. i can make due with what is there, but the pockets would make this bag ideal. second, the straps are a bit too tight at the neck and it pinches.
if it weren't for those two flaws i'd easily give this bag 5 stars!
I ordered this in the red last summer about 2 weeks before I was taking a plane trip to visit friends.
I have a disability which makes it more difficult for me to handle average size luggage. This was perfect in that I could pack all my stuff and just wheel it onto the plane!
It's still in great shape, very easy to wheel in that I pulled it behind me as well as pushed it in front of me. It was great in being about to keep my clean clothes clean.
I highly recommend this for those with disabilities in that you can get so much stuff packed and still have room!
My kids used these for school for years. I'm guessing 5 to 6 years. We still have them they do show some wear. They still use them for over night trips.
