This pack has tons of space and was great for a two week trip to Europe. It was very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. Good design. I am a female 5'4. For shorter trips, would prefer something lighter in weight and with fewer compartments. I really didn't use more than the basic 2-3 compartments.
This is my 3rd Turbo Transit pack purchase in 7 years. Bought the first 2 when my daughters went off to college. They have taken them everywhere, from college to Scotland to DisneyWorld and back...after 7 years one handle has come loose, but overall a great pack with loads of room! The girls love the bottom pocket for stashing jackets, hats and gloves in our ever-changing climate. The newer model appears to have a better handle. This one is for my son, who is so hard on backpacks that he gave up on them his senior year of high school. Now he's off to college and decided to give the Turbo Transit a try.
As always, LL Bean comes through with exceptional products & they stand behind them. When the bottom zipper came apart on the least used part of the bag, they replaced it, no questions. It is easy to justify spending a little more money for their products because they are of the hightest quality & backed by the best warranty EVER!!! We couldn't be happier with everything we've ever purchased from LL Bean!
