My kids never use their school locker and this backpack has been the solution for the problem. It has the room and the strength to carry EVERYTHING with them. Sports gear, books for all classes, IPODS, cell phone.. and it is comfortable considering it weighs as much as a small child. I love the shoe compartment, and the reinforced carrying handle. I purchased this pack for all of my boys. Before we purchased we would go through 3+ packs per school year. These are sturdy and last through all sorts of school activities. I highly recommend. My oldest is now taking his to college.
I bought backpack for air travel carry on and it serves the purpose well. If fully packed, it is hard to fit in the overhead of some small regional planes but fits fine in larger planes. It seems to be well made and should last a long time for its intended purpose. The bottom shoe compartment is a nice feature for that extra pair of shoes that are hard to pack in checked luggage. With airlines charging for checked luggage now, it is nice to have a roomy carry on that is easily manageable.
