This backpack is the perfect size for my son who has to carry several textbooks, a large binder, and his PE clothes. It also has room for the little stuff like his cell phone and Itouch. He also says its comfortable on his back even with all that weight. It was priced similar to other competing products, and if it lasts as long as my L.L. Bean backpack that I got in 1972 and still use, it will be a great value!
L.L. Bean's Backpack was just what I needed for my 4th grader. It is a little bigger than he might have needed, however, I know that it will last him well into his middle school years. There is room for everything you can imagine and it is nice looking as well. I really like the fact that there is reflector material on it as well.
I purchased this bag for my son to replace his last turbo transit which he had for over 10 years. He just loves this bag. He really likes the changes that have been made, particularly the small zipped pocket at the top of the bag where he can put small important things like keys or cell phone. This is a great quality bag which he uses daily.
