Purchased for my teenager in HS after outgrowing her 5 year old LLBean backpack. She can fit every binder and book necessary for a full academic day in this x-tra roomy back pack. It has mutiple campartments of various sizes that she finds very convenient for a water bottle, her sweat shirt, etc. If there is a downside, this backpack will fit so much stuff, my daughter ends up carrying more weight than she should on her back.
This is a very large backpack. I originally got this pack for the plane with my baby to use as his diaperbag/carryall. This fits EVERYTHING! When the description said you could fit you shoes, you REALLY can, adult shoes! I have to go home again this weekend and will probably pack all the baby's stuff (clothes, diapers, wipes, and toys) with my book/Ipod and pack all my stuff with more room in my checked bag. However, if you stuff it comfortable capacity it will not fit under the seat in front of you. Otherwise GREAT pack!!
