I had an earlier version of this backpack and it was awesome so after using it for several years I wanted to purchase another...the newer one is terrible! I have used it only two months and the straps have ripped away from the backpack. I don't want a replacement because my son's friends at school that have the same turbo transit are ripping in the same area! Much cheaper quality since the first version.
We give it a 9.9 rating. We are very happy as it is big & roomy for all the books & binders that my daughter has to carry. The only thing it is missing is a water bottle carrier on the outside. That would make it a perfect 10. We feel it is very sturdy & durable, but will see how it holds up & hopefully it will last many years.
I sent in a school bag that my son had been having for 5 years. The zipper had broken. I never expected a brand new replacement bag! I thought they were going to repair it (like they had done once before). The bag held up extremely well for the way it's handled on a daily basis.
This backpack is awesome! I loved it so much that I purchased another one for my husband. The main purpose for these backpacks is for traveling. My husband and I enjoy taking cruises and it's perfect for when we are in port and getting on/off the ship. Also used it when we are flying to hold all of our stuff (camera, binoculars, travel info., my purse, cell phones, books, etc. ). It holds a lot and can handle a lot of weight. When we were flying back from our Alaska cruise, I weighed this bag at the airport and it was 22lbs. Every inch of this bag was used and granted it was heavy for me to lug around the airport but it held up! I've washed these bags as well and they hold up very well. We used them on weekend getaways and day trips. The padding on the back of the bag is a blessing and the strap to place around your waist is another great feature. The shoulder straps are padded and very comfortable. If you need to carry it you have a handle on the side. Extremely pleased with this product!
