When I first used this pack, I couldn't believe how much it could carry. I plan to use it in Alaska to carry multiple cameras, binoculors, documents, tour info., xtra change of clothes, etc. Highly recommended by this traveler. Great pack !!!!!
I am a loyal ll Bean customer. This back pack is wonderful. It is the third one that I have purchased. It is extremely durable and looks nice at the same time. I have three kids and I only purchase their back packs at ll Bean. Why go anywhere else when you can buy the best here. The back packs are priced high, but they outlast 3 or more packs from anywhere else. I am very pleased with this product.
This pack is indestructible and totally practical. I bought it when I went back to college full-time as a 30-something year-old in 1999, and it's still going strong. The pack holds a massive book load and laptop in the main compartment, miscellaneous supplies in the auxiliary compartments, and a weekend's worth of clothes in the bottom storage area. The padding on the back is noticeably comfortable, the zippers are incredibly strong, and the pack can double as a carry-on bag for air travel because it is so roomy. Now, I use it daily for taking papers, my laptop, and my lunch to work, with my gym clothes in the bottom compartment.
I travel a lot of the weekends visiting friends and heading out to Fire Island. This bag is great. You can fit more than clothes in it and the other pockets make it easy to separate and find your items without tearing the contents out each time. I especially love the shoe compartment in the bottom. The ONLY thing I don't like about is that it doesn't have a chest strap to balance some of the weight when the bag is full. Worth every penny, I highly recommend it.
