This is a great book bag because of the larger size and sturdiness. My son is only 14 but he carries a lot of books and is very hard on book bags. This one has been great and I love the confidence I have in LL Bean because they stand behind every product! This is the reason I continue to shop with LL Bean over and over again.
I ordered this backpack for my teenage son. He's a sophomore in high school and this backpack is PERFECT!!.. It holds his books, 3 ring binders, shoes and still has room. It's ideal for high school and college students. Great buy!
We bought this for our son that started middle school this year. He has so many books plus a wide 3 inch binder. He loves the bag. It gives him some many compartments to put glasses, pencils, contacts and shoes. A+.
My 13 year old requested this bag for his birthday. I had the 3-letter monogram added and he loved it. The bag seems extremely durable which is definitely needed for the daily life of a 13 year old boy! The padded shoulder straps make it very easy to carry on one or both shoulders. The handle is convenient to use if he's just loading it into the car. Very pleased.
