This is a great bag. Plenty of pockets and divided sections. I pack extra shoes/ toiletry kit in the lower section and then use it to hold laundry during a trip. More than enough space for a weekend, although a week long business trip would be a stretch.
Great bag for my active, 14 yr. old, high school boy. Fits all of his class binders without straining the zipper. Keeps him better organized because of the pockets. Bottom area is perfect for sports or band stuff. Bag also works for camping &/or mission trips. He says it is very comfortable, even when stuffed full. Priced nicely compared to bags of much lesser quality. One improvement would be to add mesh, drink holders.
I bought for my 17 year old son for school. He loves it. It fit's all his books, binders as well as gym and sports cloths. It filled & keeps everything organized.
Three weeks after purchasing, for my 15 yr old son, reviewing the proper way to load, and using the Turbo Transit Pack, a side seam was beginning to rip apart. After notifying LLBean of the defect, they were very polite and prompt in making an exchange. I couldn't have been more pleased with customer service. Overall this was a great purchase of a roomy and sturdy backpack with a great warranty. My son said it could use a water bottle holder though.
