I order this backpack for my son who is going to middle school. I hope this lasts him for the next three years. Although the color (Night) did not come out the same as what is on the website, the backpack is really roomy. There are pockets all over. I just wish they added one for a water bottle. I guess you cannot have everything :( I will definitely order a black one for my daughter. I hope the color turns out to be the same as the web since girls are pickier than boys.
This bag is so big, I love all the pockets and compartments! I bought this for my middle schooler, his smaller bag just wasn't working anymore. He will be able to use this one through college. The best part is, if it doesn't last LL Bean will replace it! I spent years buying our older kids book bag after book bag. My daughter talked me into buying her an LL Bean bookpack 8 years ago and I quickly bought one for our older and younger child too. They were the last bags we bought, until now. My 6th grader is only on his second bag!
This is the second turbo pack purchased. I have 3 boys and the 2nd just got his young adult pack bc they can get most their projects, books and lunches in it. Most important for me is they can keep they gym clothes separate!! The first pack has survived a teenager throwing it around for almost 3 yrs so I'd say it is a keeper!
This was the first backpack that my daughter could fit all her school books in and still have room for her softball cleats. Most importantly didn't hurt her back to carry it.
