I actually ordered this item to use as a diaper bag for my toddler. I think it is great. It is so nice to throw over my shoulder (easy to carry). The quality is great. It holds its shape well even if I only have a few items in it, or I can really load it down.
Purchased this bag for my 5yr. old who was about to start Kindergarten. He loved the color and the monogram. The perfect size for this age since he isn't bringing home alot of books, etc. Had one little problem with the top "handle" / "loop". One end came off. But I called customer service and they will have another one out to me ASAP. Great Customer Service! Love LL Bean! Satisfied Customer
This is a great smaller sized backpack. Even though it's smaller size is perfect for my 3 year old, it is still big enough to hold 8.5 x 11 papers and an extra set of clothes! It is well made also. I will buy another for my 18 month old when he needs one.
Two of my kids are in preschool and each of them has this backpack and the matching lunch box. They can continue to use this backpack in kindergarten and first grade. They love their backpacks! The nice thing is they aren't too heavy or too big for them. They easily carry them to and from school everyday. Will buy my youngest one of these when he enters preschool too! Love it!!!
