I ordered this backpack in Red for my son with his name monogrammed on it. He will be starting Kindergarten this fall, this bag is perfect : size, color, price everything... He loves it and is excited about school starting.
I bought this for my son upon entering kindergarten last year. He loved the camo print that was offered at the time. It is easily identified on a table of 20 backpacks. I loved that it was smaller for his 5-year old frame. He's now about to finish 1st grade and it's still in great shape despite being tossed around, dragged rather than carried, and stepped on for 2 full school years. He could carry it again next year, but he wants one a bit larger for "2nd Grade." I will be ordering the next size up for him and one of these smaller ones for his brother who will be entering kindergarten in the fall. Love the fun new gecko prints!
I bought 2 of these for my twin boys when they started kindergarten last fall (green gecko and blue gecko - although the blue looks more purple). The bags both still look like new. They are both excited that they can use them again next year. Unless they have changed the way they make them, you will not be disappointed with this back pack. In fact, I will be buying a red one for my niece when she starts pre-school this fall
